The AL-KO 161S Overrun Brake System is a compact, high-performance solution designed for braked trailers with V-type drawbars, supporting a total weight range of 950kg to 1600kg. Equipped with the AK161 Ball Hitch, it ensures a secure and stable connection to the towing vehicle, featuring an ergonomic soft-grip lever for effortless coupling/uncoupling and a Soft-Dock cover to protect against scratches and impacts. The system's hot-dip galvanized steel housing provides robust corrosion resistance, enduring harsh weather, road salt, and moisture for long-term durability.

This overrun device automatically engages the trailer's brakes in sync with the towing vehicle, shortening stopping distances, stabilizing movement, and reducing wear on the vehicle's braking components. Its three-range return lever simplifies adjustments, while dual mounting options (top or bottom of the drawbar) offer flexibility for diverse trailer designs. Safety is prioritized with a hitch wear indicator, correct coupling sensor, and anti-disengagement lock. Ideal for household trailers, it also features a 100kg max vertical load capacity and compatibility with AL-KO 1637/2051 braking mechanisms.
