The AL-KO 251S Overrun Brake System is engineered for braked trailers with V-type drawbars, supporting a total weight range of 1500kg to 2700kg. Equipped with the AK270 Ball Hitch, it ensures a secure and stable connection to the towing vehicle, featuring an ergonomic soft-grip lever for effortless coupling/uncoupling and a Soft-Dock cover to protect against scratches and impacts during maneuvering. The system's hot-dip galvanized steel housing provides superior corrosion resistance, enduring harsh weather, road salt, and moisture for long-term durability.

This overrun device automatically synchronizes the trailer's brakes with the towing vehicle, reducing stopping distances, stabilizing movement, and minimizing wear on the vehicle's braking components. Its three-range return lever simplifies adjustments, while dual mounting options (top or bottom of the drawbar) offer flexibility for diverse trailer designs, with a maximum drawbar height of 100mm for bottom mounting. Safety is prioritized with a hitch wear indicator, correct coupling sensor, and anti-disengagement lock to prevent accidental uncoupling. Compatible with AL-KO 1637/2051 braking mechanisms, it ensures reliable performance for household and commercial trailers.
