The AL-KO 251S Overrun Brake System is engineered for horse trailers, caravans, flatbeds, and commercial trailers with a V-type drawbar, supporting a total weight range of 1500kg to 2700kg. Equipped with the AKS 3004 Ball Hitch featuring a stabilizer, it ensures a secure and stable connection to the towing vehicle while preventing trailer tilt and uncontrolled movements. The hitch's ergonomic soft-grip lever simplifies coupling/uncoupling, and the Soft-Dock cover protects against vehicle scratches and user injuries during maneuvering.

This system's hot-dip galvanized steel housing provides superior corrosion resistance, enduring extreme weather, road salt, and mechanical wear for long-term durability. The overrun brake automatically synchronizes with the vehicle's braking system, reducing stopping distances, stabilizing motion, and minimizing wear on the towing vehicle's brakes. Advanced safety features include a hitch wear indicator, correct coupling sensor, and anti-disengagement lock. With dual mounting options (top/bottom of the drawbar) and a three-range return lever, it adapts seamlessly to diverse trailer designs and usage scenarios.
