This 18-inch flexible trailer brake hose is DOT approved and designed for use in hydraulic braking systems on boat and utility trailers. Featuring a 90-degree bend at one end, this hose is perfect for tight spaces or for connecting axles in tandem axle brake setups. It's also suitable for running brake lines from a T or X fitting to the nearest caliper. UV resistant, it ensures durability against the sun and saltwater exposure. The fittings are 3/16" male inverted flare ends with a 3/8"-24 thread size, commonly used in trailer brake components. The hose itself is flexible, but it will not bend at the 90-degree fitting. Any attempt to bend the hose at this point could cause kinking and block brake fluid flow, affecting the system's performance.
