All GAL-DEX hubs undergo a test in which they are sprayed with a 5-percent salt solution to determine corrosion resistance over time. These products are able to withstand 500 hours of constant exposure to the saltwater mist. This 500-hour salt spray rating indicates that a product is not only durable enough to last in freshwater environments, but it can also be used on trailers that come into contact with saltwater.
